Writer, social researcher and former publisher Maggie Hamilton gives frequent talks and lectures; is a media commentator and keen observer of social trends. She’s held a number of senior roles in publishing and at the ABC.

Her books, published in over a dozen countries worldwide, include What Men Don't Talk About, the lives of real men and boys; What's Happening to Our Girls? and What's Happening to Our Boys? current issues boys and girls face; When We Become Strangers on loneliness; and What Happens to Our Kids When We Fail to Grow Up?

Maggie’s passion is people and out-of-the-way places, understanding why we do what we do, how we can do things better, to help create a better tomorrow. She loves film and vintage clothes, theatre and dance, and the endless soulful moments that present themselves daily.
